Firefighters have been attending a suspected kitchen fire.
Crews were called to Mitford Walk, Crawley, this morning at around 11am.
Four fire engines were in attendance at the residential street.
A burnt out kitchen appliance was discarded outside.
A West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: "At 11.06am we were called to a fire at a property in Mitford Walk, Crawley.
"Joint fire control sent four fire engines from Crawley and Horsham to the scene, as well as an aerial ladder platform from Horsham.
"Upon arrival firefighters wearing breathing apparatus quickly entered the property and located a fire in the kitchen.
"Crews used hose reels, a jet and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire, which is believed to be of accidental ignition, before ventilating the property.
"Fire crews booked away from the scene at around 1.30pm."
