A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a four-vehicle collision.
Police were called to the scene of a crash in icy conditions yesterday morning along the A2690 in Bexhill.
A section of the road, Coombe Valley Way, was closed temporarily while the vehicles were recovered.
One woman was taken to hospital, with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Police are urging anyone who saw the crash, which took place at around 7.35am, to contact police by emailing collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk, quoting serial 242 of 17/12.
