Rail passengers face significant disruption due to urgent repairs on part of a major train line to London.
Repairs to the track between Three Bridges and Haywards Heath are taking place, with some of the lines between the two stations being blocked.
Fewer trains are able to run through the area, with passengers advised to allow an extra 20 minutes for journeys.
Train tickets are being accepted at no extra cost on other Southern and Thameslink services, Metrobus services between Redhill, Gatwick Airport, Haywards Heath and Brighton, and Brighton and Hove Buses in the city.
It comes as almost all train stations across Sussex are closed due to the latest in a series of strikes by members of the RMT union.
Only ten train stations across Sussex are in operation today, all on the Brighton Main Line.
Trains started later this morning, with services also finishing earlier in the day - with the last train to Brighton from London leaving Victoria shortly before 6pm.
