A pub opened its doors to a community choir to raise hundreds of pounds for a local food bank.
The Duke of Wellington pub, in Brighton Road, Shoreham, welcomed Portslade choir The Tone Rangers to fundraise for The Purple People Kitchen.
The choir sang a mixture of Christmas carols, sea shanties and more contemporary numbers to get pubgoers into the festive spirit.
Singers raised almost £300 for the food bank.
Choir leader Sharon Lewis said: “The Purple People Kitchen do a fantastic job for their local community and, as a community choir, we wanted to help.
“We’re extremely grateful to the Duke of Wellington for giving us the stage for the evening and we hope everyone enjoyed the performance.”
The Tone Rangers meet every Wednesday at the South Portslade Community Centre in Church Road and are open to new members.
The choir restarts after the festive season on January 11, with more information on their website.
