Around 200 people attended the funeral of a boy killed by a car when crossing the road.
People paid their respects and all wore football tops for Tyler Wills, 12, who died on November 25.
School friends attended the funeral on Monday to give Tyler "the best possible send-off" at Surrey and Sussex Crematorium in Balcombe Road, Crawley.
His coffin had designs of Brighton and Manchester United - two football teams he loved.
Stepfather Pete Fraser said: "I think about 200 people turned up. It was a really good turnout for him. Everyone had football tops, loads of his friends were there.
"It was a really good send-off for him."
Tyler, of Arnfield Close in Crawley, died after being hit by a car in Crawley Avenue, also in the town.
Tyler's family said they were "overwhelmed" by the £17,000 raised by around 1,100 people through a GoFundMe.
A minute's silence was held by Crawley Town Football Club before a game recently in honour of Tyler.
A procession walk in his memory was also organised by the community in Crawley last Friday.
