More snow is forecast to hit Sussex later today, according to the Met Office.
Eastbourne is expected to see heavy snowfall from 12pm, as the county continues to battle with travel disruption due to yesterday's wintry weather.
A yellow weather warning for much of Sussex remains in effect until 11am tomorrow, with lying snow and icy patches expected to continue to cause difficult travel conditions.
Icy stretches are also likely to develop on untreated surfaces this evening and overnight as some snow begins to thaw over the course of the day.
Other parts of the county are unlikely to see any more snow, with some sleet forecast for Worthing around 6pm this evening.
Brighton and Hove will see only cloud for most of the day, while Chichester will see some sunny intervals from around 2pm.
In Hastings, conditions have already turned wet as the town is battered by heavy rain.
The colder weather is set to stay for a bit longer, with temperatures hovering just above freezing.
However, the weather will turn slightly warmer for the weekend, reaching 9C on Sunday with heavy rain forecast for Brighton and Hove.
