Multiple cars have been involved in a crash caused by the treacherous weather conditions.
The accident near Devil’s Dyke, Brighton, is thought to involve six cars.
One person was trapped as a result of the crash.
Vehicles can be seen strewn across the snow-covered. Saddlescombe Road is partially closed due to the incident.
Emergency services are at the scene including specialist response units.
A spokeswoman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue said that they were called to the scene of the crash at 3.12pm on Sunday, December 11.
