A houseboat has caused traffic as a convoy of vans attempts to deliver it to Brighton Marina.
The boat is being transported on a large lorry as vans with orange flashing lights warned drivers of the oncoming vehicle.
Due to its size, the lorry has had to drive on the opposite side of the road in Falmer Road, causing other vehicles to pull over to let the "abnormal load" past.
One bystander said: "Two vans were there with it with orange flashing lights and a sign which said 'abnormal load' on it.
I imagine the boat is going to the marina but at the moment its crawling down Falmer Road.
"All the cars on the other side of the road had to stop. It's so big I don't know what route it will take to get down to the marina."
It has not been confirmed that the boat, currently on the back of the lorry in Woodingdean, is being taken to Brighton Marina.
The bystander added that they thought that traffic would be affected in the area for some time.
