An air ambulance has landed at a city-centre park this afternoon.
The Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS) air ambulance touched down in East Brighton Park at around 3.30pm after landing on the South Downs near Rodmell, between Peacehaven and Lewes.
While the Royal Sussex County Hospital helipad is under construction, the park is being used as a temporary landing location for the air ambulance.

The helicopter has since returned to its base at Redhill Aerodrome for 4:30pm.
The air ambulance took off from Rochester airport at 2:35pm this afternoon en route to Sussex.
The KSS Air Ambulance have been approached for comment.
