Emergency services have been attending a crash involving two cars which left one person trapped.
The crash happened at around 12.30pm this afternoon in Sompting Road, Worthing.
Sussex Police, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (WSFRS) and Secamb attended the crash.
Firefighters removed the person and left the scene by 2.15pm.
A spokeswoman for WSFRS said: "At 12.33pm we were called to a road traffic collision involving two vehicles at Sompting Road, Broadwater.
"Joint fire control sent two fire engines from Worthing and a heavy rescue tender from Chichester to the scene.
"Upon arrival crews found that one person was trapped and they extricated the casualty using hydraulic rescue equipment and small gear, before leaving the scene at around 2.15pm.
"South East Coast Ambulance Service and Sussex Police were also in attendance."
Sussex Police have been approached for comment.
