This is the moment double murderer Mark Brown was seized by police.

The footage was released after Brown, 41, was convicted of the murder of two women by a unanimous jury on Thursday, December 1. 

The former Brighton hotel security guard killed two women and torched one of their bodies in an oil drum at Little Bridge Farm near Hastings.

Only charred teeth and bone fragments remained of single mum-of-two Alex Morgan, 34.

No trace of mum-of-three Leah Ware, 33, has ever been found.

The video shows the moment Brown was arrested on suspicion of the murder of Ms Morgan.

He was already in custody for the murder of Ms Morgan when he was then interviewed by Sussex Police officers in relation to the disappearance of Leah Ware.

He gave no comment and was subsequently charged with her murder on February 1 this year. 

Brown pleaded not guilty to both murders but following the seven-week trial at Hove Crown Court he was convicted by a unanimous jury.

He is due to be sentenced at the same court on Friday January 13, 2023.
