A judge pleaded with a double murderer to tell the family of his first victim what he did with her body.
Perverted double murderer Mark Brown was told he will be jailed for life after a jury decided he killed two woman and torched their bodies in an oil drum at Little Bridge Farm near Hastings.
Only charred teeth and bone fragments remained of single mum-of-two Alex Morgan, 34.
No trace of mum-of-three Leah Ware, 33, has ever been found.
Brown, 41, a former Brighton hotel security guard, cremated their bodies in a makeshift incinerator at Little Bridge Farm.
His honour judge Nicholas Hilliard KC told Brown: “There is only one sentence which can be passed and that is imprisonment for life.”
The judge said he would decide by January if he would be jailed with no possibility of parole.
Judge Hilliard said the impact on the families of his victims had been devastating.
He showed no emotion when the judge told him: “it is clear this is a case of the upmost gravity.”
Judge Hilliard asked Brown to tell the family of Leah Ware what he did with her before he is sentenced next month.
“If he wishes to confirm what he had done with Leah Ware’s body, he has that chance.”
“With Alexandra Morgan, if he lied about why she was being lured to the farm, the question is what his plans were.
“They must have involved violence and sexual activity against her will and for some time.
“The question is what would have happened when it was over.
“How does he prevent her from reporting it?
“Murdering her would be a way of doing that.
“Knowing that he had already successfully disposed of one body.
“Alex was more suspicious of him than he knew and it would not have taken much to confirm her suspicions.”
Leah Ware was kept in a shipping container at the farm as a modern sex slave by Brown.
Her mother broke down as she told the court her daughter was forced to live in the container inside a barn rented by Brown at the remote farm.
Brown groomed Alex Morgan as her replacement before murdering her and burning her body head first in the oil drum.
Perverted predator Brown lured Alex to her death with promises of a new life before his fake promises turned to murder in November 2021.
He murdered Leah Ware in May 2021 and immediately started looking for her replacement.
Alex Morgan was murdered in the same steel box.
Many others had lucky escapes.
Brown worked as a labourer, hotel and festival security guard and car trader.
He kept stolen cars at Little Bridge Farm where he worked on them before selling them on.
He has one son with his partner Lisa Clarke who has another two sons from a previous relationship.
Police described him as a really dangerous man.
Duncan Atkinson KC described Brown as a selfish man who created a web of confusion, misinformation and lies to cover his crimes.
He told the jury the lack of evidence of how the two women died was not an obstacle to concluding Brown murdered Leah Ware and Alex Morgan.
“He constructed a great edifice of lies, camouflage and distraction designed to conceal when, where and how Leah Ware and Alex Morgan had died,” Mr Atkinson said.
His determined concealment of the means of death, concealed his determined, violent action, Mr Atkinson said.
Brown told an old school friend he was only interested in drop dead gorgeous brunettes, into music and cars, with at least two children and mental health issues.
Within days of murdering Leah, Brown had selected his next victim but not before he had considered a few more.
At least four more women visited Little Bridge Farm.
Brown targeted Alex Morgan and Leah Ware through online adult websites before moving on to social media where he bombard them with intense messaging.
He carried on claiming Leah Ware’s benefits after killing her, pocketing at least £12,000.
Sex worker Alex Morgan, 34, a single mother-of-two from Sissinghurst, Kent, was reported missing in November 2021 after failing to return from a weekend away.
She was last seen filling her car at a petrol station near her home in Cranbrook, Kent on the morning of November 14.
Leah Ware, 33, a mother-of-three from Hastings, was last seen by a friend in the early hours of May 6, 2021.
She had been in a relationship with Brown after meeting him through an escort website.
