Shoppers have got the chance to reward Christmas creativity and craftiness as part of a window-dressing competition in the city centre.
Organised by Brilliant Brighton, a group of more than 500 businesses in the centre of the city, stores across The Lanes and North Laine have embraced the festive spirit and dressed their windows with Christmas decorations to dazzle passers-by.
Visitors and people shopping for their Christmas presents can vote for their favourite window through Brilliant Brighton’s website, with the most voted-for business winning a cash prize of £150.
The choice of one voter will also be picked at random and awarded £150.
The competition comes after the city’s Christmas lights were switched on to officially welcome the festive season.
Shelly Welti of Brilliant Brighton said: “We are really excited to get shoppers and those heading out for meals, coffees and drinks feeling festive.”
Voting is open until December 31, with shoppers able to choose their favourite at tinyurl.com/xmaswindowcompetition.
