A 12-year-old boy has died after being hit by a car.
The crash happened at around 2.45pm yesterday in Crawley Avenue, Crawley.
Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage to establish exactly what happened.
A spokesman said: “A 12-year-old boy was taken to hospital by the ambulance service where he sadly passed away. His next of kin have been informed.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the situation and police would like to speak to anybody who witnessed the incident or the events leading up to it, or anybody with relevant dashcam footage.
“Please contact police through collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk, quoting serial 750 of 25/11.”
