A pair of police officers have pleaded not guilty to assaulting a man while on patrol.
Daniel Lott, 32, and Daniel Groves, 28, both pleaded not guilty to assault by beating in an incident while on duty in Bognor in May 29.
Lott, of Dominion Road in Worthing, and Groves, of Shipwrights Close in Emsworth, appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, November 24.
Both Sussex Police officers were granted unconditional bail. A trial date has now been set for April 24, 2023.
