A man was pronounced dead after being found “unresponsive” in a street.
Emergency services attended the man in Camden Street, Portslade, Brighton, on Sunday morning.
But despite the “best efforts” of paramedics he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Sussex Police spokesman said enquiries are ongoing but there are thought to be no suspicious circumstances.
A force spokesman said: “Police and ambulance were called to a report of an unresponsive man in Camden Street, Brighton, at about 8.25am on Sunday (November 20).
“Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Enquiries are ongoing and the coroner has been informed.
“There are thought to be no suspicious circumstances.”
