A missing rugby player has been spotted looking “lost and confused” in the homeless area of Barcelona, it has been reported.
Levi Davis, 24, has apparently been spotted in the city after being reported missing over two weeks ago.
The rugby player, who previously played for Worthing Raiders and appeared on Celebrity X Factor, was last seen leaving an Irish bar in the Spanish city.
According to The Mirror, Davis’s agent and former player Tom Varndell said that he had received reports of a potential sighting of the former Bath player.
A person who wished to remain anonymous told Varndell that he had seen Davis looking disorientated in a tourist area of the city in the evening of Monday, October 14.
Varndell said: “They said, ‘I shouldn't have told you anything in the first place, but I saw the tweets and felt bad.’ “They said he was seen at Placa Sant Agusti this morning (Monday, November 14), which is usually transited by homeless people.”
“He seemed lost and confused apparently. If it is Levi, God knows what state he’s in right now.
“There's nothing concrete and that's been passed on to the police to do some investigations in that area, but other than that, there hasn't been anything. It’s so frustrating.”
Previous reports suggested that Davis had not used his phone or taken money out of his account in the two weeks since he was last seen.
He was last seen leaving the Old Irish Pub in Barcelona wearing a white t-shirt and with a black backpack. He had only recently arrived in the city after visiting Ibiza to see friends.
Davis had previously played rugby for Bath as well as Ealing Trailfinders before moving to Worthing RFC. The club said that he no longer played for them but that “all at Worthing RFC are deeply concerned for Levi and join the calls for anyone that may have seen Levi to please contact findlevidavis@gmail.com”.
He also featured on Celebrity X Factor alongside fellow players Ben Foden and Thom Evans, as well as being in Celebs Go Dating.
