Seann Walsh will face his first I’m a Celebrity trial tonight as he pairs with Matt Hancock on their first day in the jungle.
A teaser shared by ITV ahead of Wednesday night’s episode showed the former health secretary Hancock, 44, screaming as insects are poured on him from above.
The West Suffolk MP is joining the I’m a Celebrity camp with fellow contestant Seann Walsh.
The comedian was confirmed along with Hancock at the end of Tuesday evening’s episode, as Ant and Dec announced the pair would be taking part in their first trial, Beastly Burrows.
In the preview video, the pair are seen navigating a series of dark tunnels while wearing hard hats in search of stars for their new campmates.
At a junction, Hancock asks, “Which way do you want me to go?” prompting Walsh to respond: “I’m not a sat-nav, I don’t know!”
McPartlin and Donnelly are seen laughing as the pair argue.
All you need to know about Seann Walsh
Seann was born in Camden, London but grew up in Brighton which is where he got into comedy.
It was through becoming a graduate of Jill Edwards' comedy workshops at Komedia that he started to make a name for himself.
Early in his stand-up career, he won the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year in 2009 as well as Chortle's Best Newcomer in the same year.
Going back to Komedia Seann was the resident host at its Comic Boom show, and did some work as a warm-up comedian for QI.
He supported fellow comedian Stephen K. Amos on a couple of tours, before performing his own show Seann to Be Wild at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2012, touring the country with it.
After that his 2013 Edinburgh Fringe show The Lie-In King was also well-received.
Outside of his stand-up, he has made appearances on comedy panel shows like Mock the Week and Virtually Famous, acted in the sitcom Big Bad World and hosted the Netflix gameshow Flinch.
However, Seann might be well-known to most people due to his featuring on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018.
A scandal erupted after he was photographed kissing his dance partner Katya Jones, despite them both being in long-term relationships.
Both relationships ended as a result, and earlier this year Seann said he underwent treatment for depression and anxiety, to help him cope with the fallout of the incident.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues on Wednesday at 9pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
