Here are our pictures of Lewes Bonfire, the largest bonfire in Sussex.
Crowds were impressed by the effigies of Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak, with many remarking on how quickly the bonfire societies had made them.
Despite the wet weather, train strikes and road closures thousands took to the streets to watch the parades before heading to the bonfires.
One police officer said it had been "a relatively quiet night" at the celebration.
