Drone footage has shown the full extent of the damage caused by recent weather as fields and roads have been left under water.
The damage seen in Barcombe Mills Road in Barcombe includes acres of fields submerged by rainwater from this week’s storms.
After Storm Claudio buffeted the South coast on Tuesday, November 1, further rain and yellow weather warnings have led to the road and surrounding fields being left impassable by water.
Aerial footage shows multiple fields flooded by the recent rainwater on Friday, November 4. Multiple properties surround the flooded fields appear to be on the edge of the affected area.
Sussex has received over a third of the usual rainfall for November in a single day.
