A fire engine has attended an incident where a city centre pub was evacuated.
The incident saw the Post and Telegraph in North Street in Brighton evacuated as a fire crew dealt with an incident in surrounding flats.
Customers were briefly asked to leave the building while the incident was dealt with. The call-out was quickly deemed a false alarm.
A spokeswoman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue said that the incident occurred at 5.27pm on Thursday, November 3. A fire crew were sent to the scene but were quickly stood down.
