A high street retailer has announced plans for a new store in the centre of Brighton.
British high street fashion store QUIZ will be opening a new store in Churchill Square this month.
The 2,700 sq ft sales area will be located in what was previously USC on the lower central mall of the shopping centre and will become the 69th store in the fashion company’s current portfolio of UK stores.
The new QUIZ store will employ between eight and ten new members of staff.
It follows a recent announcement by Churchill Square of the opening of a new Paperchase store, which marks a return to the city.

The stationers opened its new outlet at the Brighton mall at the former site of candle store Yankee Candle.
The company used to have an outlet in East Street but that was closed last year.
Mark Buchanan-Smith, centre director at Churchill Square, said the centre was “delighted” by the news.
“We’re delighted that QUIZ has chosen Churchill Square for its only site in the city centre, adding to our diverse range of stores,” he said.
“As the Christmas party season approaches, I’m sure it will be a popular destination for our customers to find stylish clothing at a reasonable price.”
Sheraz Ramzan chief commercial officer at QUIZ said: “We’re delighted to announce the opening of our new store in Brighton.
“We’re so excited to bring the QUIZ brand and fashion collections to new and existing customers, just in time for the Christmas party season.”
