The entrance to a high street shop has been partially closed due to fears of glass falling from a smashed window.
The closure at Marks and Spencer in Western Road in Brighton, has left one set of double doors locked with a cordon in place on the pavement outside.
A window has also been smashed above the door with cardboard in place in the middle of the frame.
The store still remains open with customers still able to enter the store through a separate set of doors.
A spokesman for Marks and Spencer said: “Our maintenance team have secured the window and will be replacing it tomorrow morning.
"We are very grateful to local shoppers and residents for their understanding whilst the pavement was partially closed today. The store is open and continuing to trade as normal.”
