Police are cracking down on county lines drug activity at train stations.
The British Transport Police were at Worthing station today conducting an operation to tackle the movement of drugs using the rail network.
Eyewitnesses said they saw the police searching the bags of people leaving the station.
According to staff at Worthing station, there were over 20 police staff on site.
A spokesman for the British Transport Police said: "The operation is just one example of the daily deployments we carry out across the railway nationwide to crack down on drug supply.
"Its aim is to tackle county lines activity and identify and safeguard vulnerable individuals exploited in this crime type."
As part of the operation, there were officers deployed in plain clothes and uniform using "a number of specialist resources."
