Police have released CCTV footage in connection with a serious assault on a train.
The assault took place at 8.35pm on July 19 on a Thameslink service which departed from Brighton.
Two people noticed a group vaping on the train and asked them to stop.
The train was travelling past Gatwick Airport when the group became verbally abusive.
One of the victims was punched several times resulting in a broken cheekbone, while the second victim had her hair pulled out.
Officers believe the people in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.
