Hairdressers across Brighton have joined together to raise awareness of a bereavement charity.
A number of barbers and hairdressers will be asking customers to donate in support of Project Eileen who provide support to teenagers with grief and loss.
The charity, who are being supported by celebrity hairdresser Andrew Barton, are asking customers to donate what they can when they get their hair cut.
Barton said: "As a hairdresser there are many personal conversations that happen in the salon with clients.
“I know that I can speak for hairdressers in general that we are not trained on how to deal with the conversation of bereavement and this is a common conversation as it obviously effects all of us throughout our lives.
“I hope my role as a Patron of Project Eileen will create more awareness for the discussion in salons and beyond." Project Eileen provides lessons to secondary school pupils on ways to deal with grief and loss.
The event is being run from Friday, October 21, and Saturday, October 22.
