A man has been arrested and charged with multiple thefts after being linked to a number of incidents across Sussex.
Dean Haggerty, 48, is accused of stealing from Home Sense in North Street in Brighton as well as the theft of a bike in Worthing.
Haggerty, of Twyford Gardens near Worthing, has also been linked to the theft of goods from Sainsbury's in Lyon's Farm.
The alleged spree of thefts is said to have taken place between Wednesday, June 22, and Monday, June 27.
Among the items supposedly stolen by Haggerty are bedding and towels totalling £174 and the bike, worth around £325.
Haggerty appeared at Brighton Magistrate's Court on Friday, October 14. He has been remanded in custody ahead of another hearing on Friday, November 11.
