A property dubbed the “second smallest house in Brighton” has been sold after it was put up for auction.
The three-storey house, in Elm Grove, has a total floor area of roughly 40 square metres which includes a kitchen, bedroom and “room for a table”.
Despite being put up for auction at Auction House Sussex, no bids reached the reserve price for the house but it was swiftly snapped up following an offer.
It is a narrow semi-detached property with a wide, sliding front door leading into the living room. The house is designed with one room on each floor.
It includes a ground floor living room with a spiral staircase leading to the first floor kitchen area and shower room.
The top floor has a double bedroom and there is a small front garden area.
Guide prices for the house were around £200,000 although the final offer price is unclear.
