The family of a motorcyclist killed in a collision have paid tribute to him saying they are “utterly heartbroken” by his death.
Connor Laye, 18, from Bognor, passed away following the crash at the junction of Chichester Road and Hawthorn Road on Friday, October 14.
His family released a statement paying tribute to the teenager.
Remembering him, they said: “Connor was full of life and always lived it with no regrets – every day was a new day and a new adventure for him.
“He brought us as a family many ups and downs, but his big heart, charm and caring nature always shone through.
“We will always remember and love him dearly and are utterly heartbroken that this has happened.”
Connor was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the crash, where he sadly passed away.
The driver of the car, a 44-year-old man, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.
The man, from Chichester, has also been arrested on suspicion of driving a vehicle while unfit through drink or drugs.
Sussex Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident to come forward, including any dashcam or CCTV footage of the collision.
