This is the moment a car burst into flames outside a Tesco shop next to the A259.
The fire broke out just after 8.20am this morning outside the Tesco in West Street, Rottingdean.
The Argus understands the driver was inside the store shopping when the blaze happened.
It was said to have gone from a small fire underneath the car into a huge fire within around ten seconds.
A nearby bin was partially melted and a huge plume of black smoke could be seen.
Firefighters extinguished the fire within about 15 minutes.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service had one fire engine in attendance.
It confirmed there were no injuries reported.
Tesco workers said the store would reopen within the hour.
