Filming has been taking place at Brighton station for a Christmas advert to air later in the year.
Pictures from the station show a number of Christmas trees around the entrance as well as many people in high-visibility jackets looking on.
Work at the station took place at yesterday afternoon and carried on late into the evening.
The filming seemed to be focusing on a man and a woman who were seen hugging.
Filming centred on the forecourt to the station, which was blocked off to members of the public while the cameras were rolling.
Lighting was also used to set the scene for the advert, with the lights glowing blue in the background of the shots.
One man working on the filming said that the filming was for a “TV commercial”, while another said that he thought it was linked to “the National Lottery”.
Speculation has been rife on social media as to what the mystery filming was for, with some claiming that it could be for this year's John Lewis Christmas advert.
However, one less festive commuter took to Twitter and said: "Who thought it was a great idea to let them film a Christmas ad at Brighton station during peak rush hour?"
