Brighton fans were keen to welcome new manager Roberto De Zerbi to the Amex for his first game in charge.
Our pictures from the game show Albion supporters cheering as they saw in the new era despite the 1-0 loss to Spurs on Saturday, October 8.
One banner included Italian De Zerbi's face replacing the seagull in the Brighton crest placed on top of his country's flag.
The Seagulls played well despite the result, narrowly losing to a Harry Kane header, but many fans have been heartened by the result.
Albion lie seventh in the table after a flying start to the season and hope to continue the excellent form they found under former manager Graham Potter.
