A high street chain has returned to the city centre after opening a new store in Churchill Square.
Stationers Paperchase has opened their new outlet at the Brighton mall at the former site of candle store Yankee Candle, offering a unique selection of gifts, cards, notebooks and decorations.
The company used to have an outlet in East Street but was closed last year.
The new store has opened with a collection of Halloween and Christmas items as the two holidays draw near.
Mark Buchanan-Smith, centre director at Churchill Square, said: “We’re delighted that Paperchase has chosen Churchill Square for its return to the city centre.
“We’re sure it’ll be very warmly welcomed by our customers.
“It has opened just in time for Halloween and Christmas when its distinct style of decorations, gifts and cards will no doubt be at the top of many shopping lists.”
It comes just days after menswear retailer Moss opened a store on North Street at the former site of a furniture shop.
