A LAW firm is offering its will writing services for a discounted price to raise money for charity.
Simpson Solicitors are offering the service to raise money for Will Aid. The scheme involves the firm's staff volunteering their time to write the wills, with all proceeds going to the charity.
The firm, based in Southwick, allows residents to buy will writing services for around £100 per will, or £180 for two mirror wills. Over £5,000 was raised by the solicitors in last year’s campaign.
Peter de Vena Franks, campaign director for Will Aid, said: “The last couple of years have been exceptionally challenging for people, and the cost-of-living crisis has unfortunately added to that.
“While the challenges may have changed, one thing that remains the same is the importance of having a will in place to protect your wishes. This document can provide support to the loved ones you leave behind, as well as causes close to you through legacies.”
Since launching in 1988, Will Aid has helped around 340,000 people, raising over £20 million for charities.
Appointments for the will writing service can be booked by visiting www.willaid.org.uk or calling 0300 0300 013.
