New Channel 5 fact-based drama Maxine follows the story of Maxine Carr as she moved to the town of Soham for a fresh start with her boyfriend Ian Huntley.
On a weekend visit back home to see her mother, Maxine wakes up to the news of the disappearance of Soham schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.
As her boyfriend Ian is questioned, Maxine returns to give a false alibi for Ian, leading dark secrets to come to the surface.
