A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital with a serious leg injury after a crash.
Police were called to Malthouse Lane, Hurstpierpoint at around 5.50pm on Wednesday following the single-vehicle collision.
It saw the road closed both ways from A273 Jane Murray Way to Chalkers Lane, causing traffic delays in the area.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with a serious leg injury.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Police were called to Malthouse Lane, Hurstpierpoint, around 5.50pm on Wednesday, September 28 following a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.
“The rider was taken to hospital for treatment of a serious leg injury.”
