A MAN was knocked unconscious and needed hospital treatment following an assault in the early hours of the morning.
Sussex Police are investigating the incident after officers on patrol found the man seriously injured in East Street in Brighton, near the junction with Kings Road.
The altercation is thought to have happened between 1.10am and 1.20am on Thursday, September 22.
Police are looking to speak to a man they believe is connected to the suspected assault. The man is described as white, in his 20s and wearing a gold tracksuit with a stripe down the side.
Anybody who has any information which could help with the investigation is asked to contact police online or via 101, quoting serial 064 of 22/09.
