BRIGHTON may have missed out on hosting Eurovision next year but ABBA are returning to the city after winning it here in 1974... or rather they will be here in spirit as Abba Disco Wonderland transforms Chalk into the ultimate disco hideaway for one night only on September 28.
It is “widely regarded as the UK’s best ABBA night” and promises all the hits, and a sprinkling of Seventies and Eighties floor-fillers.
“We’re delighted to be bringing Abba Disco Wonderland back to Brighton,” said a spokesman for the event.
“The crowd is always amazing here and we know this year will be no different. We’re going to be pulling out all the stops for the event so expect our biggest and best show ever.”
Dressing up for the occasion is strongly encouraged, the event organisers said.
And with prizes up for grabs for the best-dressed audience, the winner will take it all, so be sure to don your grooviest disco attire.
Chalk will be transformed into a “disco dream” complete with confetti cannons and CO2 jets across the dancefloor.
