A WOMAN has been raped in Chichester with police searching for information.
The incident is said to have occurred near Velyn Avenue at around 7.30pm on Monday, September 19.
Sussex Police have released a description of a man who they wish to speak to in relation to the incident, describing him as white, in his 50s with dark hair.
He is believed to have been wearing a blue jacket and speaking with an eastern European accent.
The victim is being supported by specially-trained officers while detectives appeal for information regarding the incident.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Witnesses and anyone with relevant CCTV in the area is asked to report it to Sussex Police online or call 101 and quote Operation Mountain."
