POLICE are still investigating the death of a motorcyclist following a crash in March.
Daniel Kinsella, from Brighton, died at the Royal Sussex County Hospital following the crash on the A259 in Portslade on Wednesday, March 16.
Despite efforts from passers-by who performed CPR, the 25-year-old died from his injuries two days later.
On Wednesday, at Brighton and Hove City Coroner’s Court, assistant coroner Alicia Keen opened the inquest into Daniel’s death but suspended it until March 21, 2023 while the police investigation continues.
Tributes to the popular biker poured in after his death.
Tom Nash said he lost his best friend and a “beloved staple in many of our lives”, while Nicci Parish said Daniel’s death was “cruel, wicked and so bloody unfair”.
Alex Tooth added: "You were such a bright light in this world, and I know you’ll continue to shine bright up in the stars."
Dan’s employers Wemoto Motorcycle Parts said they were saddened to have lost a “valued staff member and good friend”.
“To all the community, please be safe out there. Rest in peace Dan. With love from the Wemoto team,” they said.
