Fans of Oscar-winning film American Beauty and HBO drama series Six Feet Under will be clamouring to see this new play from Alan Ball, the creative talent behind both.
Presented by Scorch Theatre, it looks at the battlefield of emotional manipulation as a highly ambitious couple fight for power and control of their relationship.
The pair meet for the first time in their lunch hour and when attraction takes control, begin an amusing game of tug-of-war that turns gender stereotypes on their heads and the modern "success dream" into an absurd hallucination.
After making its debut in Sydney, the Brighton Fringe represents its UK premiere.
Producer and director Nick Warnford says: "The themes in this play of gender, equality, sexual chemistry and power are global and so as relevant in Brighton as they are in Alan Ball's America."
