During the mid-1960s I was involved in making a film of a fictitious golf match at Hollingbury Golf Club.
During the shooting two young ladies together with a lad who accompanied them, none of whom we had met before, volunteered to take part in the project and the script and filming plans were duly altered.
The film, which was later shown at golf clubs in Sussex, has just been rediscovered and will be shown at Hollingbury Golf Club on Friday, April 11, as part of the celebrations to mark 100 years of golf at Hollingbury.
If the two ladies concerned would like to attend this celebration, more than 40 years after helping to make the film, they will be made most welcome.
