A group of teenagers who have lined up 15 bands to play at a charity gig may have to cancel it if they cannot find a venue.

Team WOF (Weekend Of Fun) decided to organise the fundraising event in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust after their hero Harry Judd, of the band McFly, signed up to run the London Marathon for the charity.

But despite having a line-up for the gig, the group has struggled to find a venue.

Natalie Ward, 14, said: "All the venues are really expensive and because we are teenagers they don't take us seriously."

The Year 9 pupils from Portslade Community College hope to stage the gig on May 23 or 24 and are looking for somewhere that can hold about 150 people.

They plan to sell tickets to supporters, with all the money raised going to the charity.

Natalie said: "We know quite a lot of people will come and we've made a MySpace page to advertise it."

She added: "Harry inspires us and we wanted to do something to help raise funds for teenagers with cancer."
