There's a man with a white hat and a diamond sparkling in his front tooth being chased into the crowd by a Japanese sax player in a shimmering silver dress.

The drummer is wearing a multi-coloured string vest and mirrored shades and his beats are given extra weight by the half ton of gold rings clinging to his fingers.

A trumpet player in a red beret and tropical shirt is shouting "Natty Dreads!" and pulling a man on stage to swing his locks, while the sharp-suited singer is eyeing-up the ladies in the front row.

This is Ska Cubano live - a riot of Jamaican ska and Cuban jazz served up by 11 of the coolest, craziest cats you're ever likely to see. It's a jumping, kicking, swinging carnival of mambo, rumba, salsa and son shaken up with some skanking roots and feel-good reggae.

Front men Natty Bo and Beny Billy have more swing than a grandfather clock and they sure know how to party!

Playing tracks from their self-titled debut and joyous follow-up Aye Caramba, the horns soared and the basslines rocked.

Ska Cubano's third album is due out later this year.
