War veterans have seen their standard lowered for the last time.
Dwindling membership has forced the Worthing branch of the Burma Star Association, based in Gifford House, Boundary Road, to call it a day.
The group's flag was packed away during an official ceremony yesterday at the Queen Alexandra Hospital Home in Worthing.
The Mayor of Worthing, Heather Mercer, was among the dignitaries who attended the ceremony.
