A few words of advice for Rod Price (Letters, March 25) concerning yet another case in The Argus of unjust wheel clamping.
If after obtaining judgment against the clamping company in the courts, they still refuse to pay up then Mr Price should ask the court to "enforce" the judgment.
The court will not enforce the judgment unless you ask it to. In so doing ask the court for a warrant of execution.
A warrant of execution gives court bailiffs the authority to collect the money owed or take goods from the defendant's home or business to sell at auction.
The costs involved in getting judgment and enforcing it, along with interest, will be awarded to the plaintiff.
