A man being questioned by police on suspicion of making YouTube videos of two boys fighting has claimed they were a joke.

The 21-year-old from Crawley, who is cousins with the boys, said the youngsters were "just messing about and having a play fight".

The man is being questioned by detectives on suspicion of aiding and abetting an assault.

He walked into Crawley police station yesterday afternoon and handed himself in.

Both 12-year-old boys have been identified.

Last night The Argus uncovered another disturbing video posted on the same YouTube web page as the fight videos.

In this video a boy wearing a school uniform, who looks no older than 14, is made to beg on his knees for forgiveness to a boy.

In one shot the cameraman says to a group of terrified youngsters: "Any one of you say anything. I don't give a f*** if you are in school...I'll kick the f*** out of you."

The man who is being quizzed told a national newspaper: "They were just messing about and having a play fight.

"It was meant to be just a bit of fun.

"It happened in Crawley. Neither of them was hurt."
