PEOPLE over 65 can now book Covid boosters at several locations across Brighton and Hove.
The rollout comes as part of the NHS autumn booster scheme with over-75s and the clinically vulnerable already being offered the jabs.
Amy Galea, chief primary care officer for NHS Sussex, said: “There is no room for complacency in keeping Covid-19 on the backfoot, and this autumn booster will help protect those most at risk.
"If you are one of those eligible, it is as important as ever to get your next dose, so please do come forward as soon as possible.”
Those looking to book a vaccine appointment can get their jab at five sites across Brighton and Hove. These are:
- Brighton Racecourse
- Coldean Pharmacy, Beatty Avenue, coldean, Brighton
- Kamsons Pharmacy, The Highway, Moulsecoomb, Brighton
- Kamsons Pharmacy, Preston Road, Brighton
- Osbon Pharmacy, Church Road, Hove
Bookings for the next wave of jabs can be booked either online at nhs.uk/covidvaccine, or over the phone on 119.
The vaccine is also available from today for pregnant women and carers.
In some cases, patients will also be able to receive their Covid and flu vaccines at the same time as this year's jab is rolled out across the region.
