Terri Bearer is right to say breastfeeding is natural (Letters, March 24), but why then does she traipse around looking for a place to do it discreetly?
We live in a society which bombards us with images of women's breasts yet the thing that we have them for is considered something we should hide away to do.
If more women just sat themselves down on a comfy bench or seat and held their baby to their breast - holding a blanket up around the baby if they are self-conscious - then this most natural of activities would just become part of the landscape, as it is in many other countries.
