The sister of a man who has been missing for two months has said her family is desperate for information.
Joseph Philpot, 27, had been staying in a hostel in Regency Square, Brighton, but has not been seen since February 5.
He was reported missing by staff on February 8 and his sister Melissa Edwards, 37, has not heard from him.
Ms Edwards, of Cumberland Road, Brighton, said her brother did not take any money, tobacco or medication with him and had not used his bank account for the past two months.
Ms Edwards said her brother, who has a six-year-old son, had lived in Portugal up until he became ill five years ago and had to return to Britain for treatment.
She said he had been receiving treatment at Millview Hospital, in Nevill Avenue, Hove, and it had helped to stabilise his illness.
Mr Philpot is white, 5ft 9in tall, with short, sandy-coloured hair. He may be sleeping rough.
Anyone who has seen him is asked to call Sussex Police on 0845 6070999, quoting serial 424 of February 8.
